- There are twelve coupons that look like personal checks. Each check is customized by the dealership with services for every season and pricing.
- Each check has a bar code on it for easy tracking.
- The customer must bring the coupon, or check, back to the dealership to take advantage of the savings. So it is easy to identify that the customers and give them the red carpet treatment (not that any customer shouldn't).
- Dealership can spread the expense over several months.
- Dealership can target different groups out of their database.
- Each check is tracked so that the dealership will know what is important to their customers. This will save money on future marketing promotions.
